Granular Oxygen Booster for Wastewater Lagoons
Aquafix OxyPaks XL is a granular oxygen booster designed to enhance sludge digestion and provide reliable odor control in wastewater lagoons and decorative ponds. This powerful biostimulant stimulates aerobic bacterial activity, accelerating the breakdown of organic matter and restoring lagoon balance for more efficient wastewater treatment.
Upon application, OxyPaks XL sinks directly into the sludge layer, where it releases oxygen to penetrate and disrupt compacted solids. This action increases the available surface area for bacteria, driving deeper sludge degradation and significantly reducing sludge volume and noxious odors caused by anaerobic conditions.
By boosting dissolved oxygen (DO) and improving oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), OxyPaks XL transitions systems from anaerobic to aerobic conditions. This shift minimizes the production of hydrogen sulfide and other odorous compounds, while enhancing microbial performance and treatment outcomes across the board.
For optimal results, pair OxyPaks XL with Aquafix’s Sludge Rx™ or VitaStim Sludge Reducer to further improve sludge breakdown and ensure long-term lagoon health.

This product performs best when paired with Sludge Rx™. The oxygen release from OxyPaks XL liberates the muck from anaerobic conditions, creating new pathways for the sludge-eating aerobic bacteria to consume it.
