Graphic Design Specialist

Job Location: Madison, WI

Employment Term: Regular

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt: 40-45 hours per week Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm Central Time

Responsibilities The Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, videos, webinars, educational events, tradeshows, and instructional material using a variety of Adobe programs. This position will also contribute to creation of marketing content and strategy.

Primary Graphic Design Functions

Qualifications

Responsibilities
The Website Design Specialist is a new position to Aquafix, Inc. We are looking for someone who has the skills and desire to really make this position their own. The ideal candidate will use html, WordPress, and everything else in their toolbelt to make our websites great! They be responsible for website maintenance, creating new pages, and improving our SEO practices. This position will also be responsible for researching web hosting and performance practices and will be expected to make recommendations for improving current website performance. We are looking for an Office Administrator to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures.

Researcher – Phycology/Microbiology

Job Description:
Aquafix, Inc. is looking for a scientific Researcher with a sense of discovery who will be primarily responsible for performing mid to long term research projects and preparing data results for publication or presentation to a variety of audiences. Research projects will be performed in both the field and in a lab setting and focus on preventing Harmful Algae Blooms (HABs) and nutrient reduction in aquatic environments. You will also be responsible for performing microbiological analysis and providing customer support to customer with technical questions.

A successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of aquatic plants, aquatic algae, and microbes. The right candidate will also have the skills needed to collaborate between other researchers, clients, and internal departments.

• Preparing, collecting, and analyzing field samples for various types of data and water quality parameters
• Using microscopy to identify and enumerate algae species
