Production Technician 1

Job Location: Madison, WI

Employment Term: Regular

Employment Type: Full-Time

Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Central Time

Starting Wage: $TBD per hour with performance-based raise after 90-days plus 100% employer paid health and dental insurance premiums along with many other excellent company benefits.

Job Description:
The current position is for a production technician who has a valid driver’s license and will be responsible for assisting with blending and packaging liquid and powdered products, running errands, and other duties as assigned. This is a 1st shift position that operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on the east side of Madison, WI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Physical lifting a variety of sizes and weights by hand up to 50 LBS in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform a variety of tasks including repetitive and non-repetitive production
  • Blend and package liquid and powdered products
  • Package and palletize orders
  • Perform basic cleaning in production area and warehouse
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications
  • Driving and operating forklifts and hand trucks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, safety requirements, and short correspondence.
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add and subtract. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight and volume measurement.
  • Ability to read and understand basic formulas.
  • Ability to read a scale in grams, ounces, and pounds. Must be able to convert from one unit to another.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Mechanical or construction skills is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools or controls
  • Reach with hands and arms

Job Description:
As a Technical Sales Rep, you will use primarily phone and email to work with your customers on solving the challenges they face. Our training process will teach everything you need to know about wastewater treatment, how our products work, and the proven processes to sell successfully in this role.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in environmental science, chemistry or biology, or an aptitude for science.
  • Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Enjoys learning and researching new things.
  • Proven track record of developing customer relationships.
  • Responsibilities:

    • Utilize phone and email communication with existing customers to improve revenue growth, and help solve challenges.
    • Develop prospects into active Aquafix customers.
    • Utilize Aquafix resources to create proposals that address customer needs and goals.
    • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals within assigned territory.
    • Meet 80% annual customer retention.
    • Utilize CRM software to log interactions with customers.
    • After training period is complete the Ideal Candidate will transition to 1 trip per month, visiting customers and prospecting. Expect to be overnight 2-4 nights per month.

Job Description:
Aquafix is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our Wastewater Team. The individual will provide exceptional support and service to customers and the sales team. You will report directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for preparing Wastewater customer orders for production and assisting with customer communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare Wastewater sales orders for the production team
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure accurate and timely shipments are completed
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication:
  • Answer inbound calls and emails
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Inform customers of promotions and new products
  • Communicate delivery window and any order delays or issues to customer promptly
  • Work with customers to resolve issues or requests and escalate when necessary
  • Assist in ensuring Aquafix meets quality and compliance standards
  • Update and maintain customer records in the CRM
  • Effectively partner with various departments across the organization
  • Back-up orders and shipping for Naturalake division as needed
  • Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, multi-tasking, and time managing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Customer oriented and able to respond to different types of characters
  • Proven customer support experience (1-3 years)
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems
  • Has a drive to improve the lake environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to work independently and is self- motivating
  • Has creative problem-solving skills
